This week's estate sale buy had some interesting woodworking tools, including a Disston D8 rip saw, a Disston D4 backsaw, and an Atkins No. 25 dovetail saw, an egg beater drill, and a  nice wood rasp. Bonus buys include a really long Proto wood handle screwdriver, Seymour Smith anvil pruners, Fuller 2.5 inch deep C clamps and an as yet unidentified ratcheting Phillips screwdriver with a wood handle

Proto screwdriver.  Tip to tip is 28 and 13/16 inches. Top of the ferrule to the blade tip is 24 inches.

Sweet! Like you said the tip is in bad condition but that can easily be fixed

I've always liked the wooden handles on the Proto screwdrivers!

The tip looks like one of my old long screw drivers that I used to use on my coal stove to break up clinkers on top of the grate.

They are iconic.  This is the first one I've seen in the wild.

I've seen similar.  My grandfather used a sharpened piece of rebar with a broomstick handle.
