Pawn buy 1-26
« on: January 26, 2012, 12:47:57 PM »
Had some time this morning to stop in at my favorite pawn shop. Here's the loot, plus two. I wanted the speeder for myself, and was willing to pay the $4.50 price. The rest was tossed in for a total of $6. This doesn't count for the Thorsen 1114, and the Bonney MEB, they were free for a future trade maybe.
A What's-it for that forum
A 3/8 drive speeder by Armstrong, #11-935 - 7" swing
An Indestro Select Steel #40809 DOE 8 and 9 MM , with some chrome loss,       for       M_fumich
A Thorsen 3008 DOE 5/16 by 1/4
A Heyco #350 DOE 8 and 10 MM for my BMW
A Thorsen #1114 DOE 14 and 15 MM given me by a fellow the pawnie introduced me to.
A Bonney MEB 18 combo 18 MM- given to me by the same guy
A Japanese brake tool in poor condition

Papaw,

That Armstrong speed brace is sweet; never seen one like it.  Nice get!

I've passed up a bunch of them in the past, but this one is in great condition and I think just the right size for my purposes.

Keykeeper "Pushes Papaw down a slippery slope"- I would like to have one, I have several Armstrong items, and could easily start collecting them.

The Sliding T bar is numbered 11-938, so it probably matches the series!! 8 inches long overall.

Mwah...ha..ha...ha....just call me "the pusher"!!!!!

I'll drop it in the mail Saturday.....

Well, now I need to go through some wrenches and see what else I have. Thanks!
