Any guesses as to what this stand originally held?

Always looking for what interests me, anything early Dodge Brothers/Graham Brothers trucks ( pre 1932 or so ) and slant six / Super six parts.

Same here. You don't see something like that everyday. At least I don't...  I was thinking about buying it but it was about 5 hours away. If I had seen your post earlier I would've told you about it - maybe it WAS closer to you..lol. It's sold now anyway.
