power grip tool co.

Having trouble finding info. on this co. from Mountainair, NM.
Have a small pair of pliers I'm looking in to.
Anyone have any info?

Its 5 1/2 inches long.

did not find much, a version of that drop forged instead of stamped, with a gear operated jaw, , a hint they made jar wrenches(??)....

Apparently patented, but i dunno what patent....

Last one on ebay went for fair money....

Shown in Schulz- #709 with no info.
In Cope- Power Grip Tool Co.- Maker of a quick-adjusting pipe wrench (Schulz #709), patented August 27, 1910, by John Quist. Mystic, IA. Quist assigned half the patent to J.H. Stevens, also of Mystic.

Odd, I found in fact, 2 canadian patents for pliers, so I assume there is another us one somewhere...

CP 351917 issued 7/30/1935 For a weird slip pin cammed plier
CP 427738 issued 5/29/1945 For a geared handle plierwrench (The datamp one)

Seems like there should be at least one more patent here....

Heelspur, does yours have a sliding handle or a rotating handle???

Also, canadian patents, like english ones, included occupation of the inventor, who lists himself  as 'Blacksmith'....

It slides, and has 3 teeth on the side w/the top jaw and 5 maybe 6 teeth on the lower jaw.
