Hi yes, it may be stamped motor wheel corp or just motor wheel, that is just a guess assuming that the manuf. did not change bwteen 30 and 31 which is clearly stamped motor wheel. It is approx 14 1/2 overall length, thanks for asking...........I am getting confused, this is a 31 tool and in 30 they were stamped motor wheel but 30 was a  different tool.
I will look if the tool has any makers mark and get back with you

1930:
I have this one (Picture)-not a motor wheel unit!  It is clearly marked as a Blackhawk #5220 5/8" hex. and is 16 1/4" in length.  Other than that it only is marked with made in USA.  No other date mark's or anything else!  Let me know if you have any interest?  If so, I would need your zip code to determine a shipping cost (Hard to ship cheaply).........Cranky
