Whew, when things start going fast, they sure take off at warp speed.  First of all, I'd like to apologize for not getting pictures up just yet off my goodies (I think you guys will like a fair amount of what I got).  I also try to check in & actually contribute a tad more than I could lately.  Finally, I've got a few moments for a rundown:

For the last 9 days now, I've had vehicles rolling in/out of my "auto shop" (I am a shade tree mechanic for friends and co-workers).  6 jobs in 9 days is more work than I've had in a long time, and in the middle of that run of planned jobs, I had an S10 fuel pump job hauled in by a rather patient regular.  He said he could wait till his turn.  Boy, was I glad.  Last Friday I was supposed to start on it.  One small snag.  I got injured at work.  I had a 40 lb window sash slam down on my right hand.  2 hours and 7 X-rays later, the news came back that it was not broken, just going to be sore and multi colored for a few days.  Saturday, I start in on the pump, go to the wrecking yard to pick up a replacement pump (his choice), get coming home, and the rear axle in my truck breaks.  I wind up coming home on a roll back.  Sunday, I get his put together, it won't start, not even hinting at the normal fuel pump buzz.  I stop to go pick my wife up from her job, the serpentine belt breaks on her car (I noticed it had a couple edge worn spots a weekend prior when I changed her heater core and oil, and the belt was "supposed" to be on Sunday's list....).  Late Sunday, I decide I better just swap axles in my truck, call another yard for the axle.  $275 plus tax to my door on Tuesday .  That gives me one day now to get it finished before I need the truck to go to work at the local race track on Thursday.  Then, Friday, I gotta pack and be at the Iola Old Car Show by 6 PM to work there all weekend for the Navy Club.  Filling my time after that, I've got to be ready to be Frocked as a Petty Officer 3rd Class next weekend.  Sometimes, I wonder how I get anything done!
My toolbox isn't complete, and I'm not either.  We're both missing parts!

Wow and I thought retirement was busy. This morning I trimmed some shrubs that had grown into my neighbors space, watered some shrubs and trees and cleaned a few tools. On lunch break now and wife says I can take a whole hour if I want. Think I will. Thats my kind of schedule and I plan to stick to it'
