One of the guys I graduated high school with gave me this pipe wrench today at our monthly lunch get-together of old classmates.
He found it in his deceased father's tools, and is certain it was bought right here in Alvin,Texas, at the local Western Auto store. He is sure of this because apparently his father never traveled outside of Alvin in his adult life.
I am proud to have the wrench, and hope to discover who may have made it for Western Auto. One side says Western Auto and the other says HR2436. It is a Stillson pattern naturally.

It looks a lot like a 6-inch Crescent Tool Co. Stillson.  The adjusting nut, the pinned jaw dimensions, and the single inset panel on the handle all speak to a Crescent origin.
