Tool Display Board.
« on: August 21, 2012, 09:59:36 AM »
Here's a Photo of my display board I built out scraps I had laying around.
These tools rest here while waiting to be sold.
 They slowly rotate on/off.
Of all the things I've lost , I miss my mind the most

Lost,

I like your display board.  I also like your idea of a constantly changing, or evolving, display.  You've given me some ideas and some motivation to make one of my own.

I have no need for a permanant display, but have had the idea for quite some time, of an evolving (i.e. constantly changing) display in my garage.  I'm in the middle of a drywall repair project in my garage and will probably hold off on my display board until after the drywall dust settles.

Thanks for the inspiration...

Great idea! I used to have a display shelf where I put tools that were destined to be sold, but they all gathered their relatives and took over the space!

I just picked up a roughly 2x4' piece of finished plywood that had lots of symmetrically drilled holes in it an a lot of 3/8" metal pegs bolted to it.  The seller said it was part of a retail eyeglass display, and if so, this thing was WAY over engineered.  For $5, I thought I'd gamble.  It even has a small "rear view mirror" at the top so I can "check out my look"....lol.   This may be my temporary display unit.  Thanks for the idea....
