Have no history on this tool. Found in Auction box. Sticker on side is almost unreadable but can see (installer). As you grip handle it moves piston back in 1/8 inch steps and is held by rack which can be seen moving out back of tool. Max movement is about 1 inch. After loading it to any step bewtween 1/8 and 1 inch, moving pistol grip forward causes spring loaded piston to go forward to original position. Spring is not very powerful maybe 2 to 3 lb. to retract piston. Piston has (V) shaped cutout like front of barrel.
Anyone ever used one of these tools or know what they do ?
Picture 3 shows piston all the way forward. Picture 4 shows piston retracted one increment.

I'm not sure if it is an installer, but rather a remover, or puller of something such as a push nut, or nail, etc. What ever it works on, it would need to be small enough in diameter to fit the groove, and have a head on it to grab and retract it! That's all I got, and you probably knew all of that anyway.

Still Looking,
