Looks like a "Thorsen" style open head. 1/2" drive.
Never seen a P & C before in this style.
Smooth and strong.

You will notice that I screwed up the photo id's, but between my 2 posts you will figuer out what goes with each tool.

Nice one. I hadn't ever seen one before either until I came across this one last summer. P&C 6211. We know there are at least 2.

I have a few of those and that Thorson you were talking about look almost identical.

I have an Indestro that looks very much like yours as well.  Very cool ratchet going "bra-less".  Something tells me there was a cap or something that could fit over that, but maybe that was a dream I had and forgot.......

Yep a friend of mine has one with the cap still intact.

Yes the "dirt cap" is ON my other Thorsen's of this type, including a 1/4" drive.
This P&C ratchet is not chrome plated, and the thickness of the steel and hefty handle tells me this is a much stronger ratchet of this design.
Always like P&C tools.
I'll keep it until I make plans to start selling some tools on e-BAY, or maybe here.

I know where there were three nice condition P&C open head ratchets for sale, plus several long 3/8" extensions and some 1/2" sockets and and partial combination wrench sets.  The seller wanted collector prices, but the sale is over and he might be open to cash offers.

I personally don't collect any more, but still pick up the random piece and pass them on to friends.

I also own several P&C open gear ratchets. Living in the Portland / Vancouver area i see them quite offen. Finding one with a good gear in it is hard part . Most i have seen are worn out.

The open gear ratchet at the start of this thread never had a "cap". Those came later.
