Cool United Delco Tool Box from WLGS weekend
« on: October 06, 2013, 04:23:22 AM »
Gave $6 for it at yesterday's World's Largest Garage Sale here in  since it was so unusual looking.  Missing its top tray, but no real dents or rusty spots.  Guessing it's about 6 or 7" deep and maybe 16" wide.  Anyone ever seen one of these, have an idea when they were made,  or know why they made the box sort of a trapezoidal shape??

TIA

I had one in the 70's. I think it was a promo deal , buy so much merchandise and get the box.
Of all the things I've lost , I miss my mind the most

With that logo I don't believe it could be further back than the late 60s, 70s more likely.   This is only the second one I have seen.  Now to find some Delco tools!!!
