What, and give him the opportunity to change his mind and ask for $10?

The trouble is with such boxes, you start to feel that you ought to fill it up with appropriate tools.  Oh, that's part of the point, isn't it?

>you start to feel that you ought to fill it up with appropriate tools.

And then you try to pick it up ;P

That is the only bad thing about those, they tempt you to put way too many things in the same box...

(But at least when you do, the handle doesn't snap off and dump the contents in the street in traffic..)
Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.

Should have given 5$ because of the added cardboard dividers!

Very nice box you got there. I would of paid double what you paid, and still be happy.

I love both kennedys I use to have and the one chest I still have. They really are great boxes an chests.
And I'm proud to be an American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.

No, it's ancient dry masking tape. It's gonna be a bitch to get all the dry tape residue off. lol

You got a great deal, on a very fine box.   For removing dry masking tape, try wetting it down with hot soapy water.
