Walden Ratchet Innards....

Since this 3/8" drive ratchet just needed lube and cleaning, I thought I'd try to get it apart and see what was inside.  Never seen a ratchet using 2 spiral circlips on the same side before to hold things in place.  The pawls on this one appear to slide in the track to engage rather than pivot like the RHFT Craftsmans do.  Thank goodness neither of the circlips went flying when handled.


any other rat designs similar to this one, folks??
