M.F. 1470 pliers

Haven't been able to locate any info on these, the only M.F. pliers on ebay was similar to this but totally different number and location of the #. Looked thru what M.F. downloads on Roses but zilch there too. Anybody know when these where made?

There were no pliers listed in the 1938 catalog, for what that's worth.  Also, they are not in the 1981 catalog, although that pattern is shown, just not that that number. Narrows it down some.
