While looking for my pair of "parrot head" pliers to see if they had a makers name, I came across these. Never found the parrot heads, but glad I discovered these I had forgotten. They have an adjustable gear type jaw and are marked Grip n Stik 707 Dover O. Pat. Apr. 13 '24. Are they rare or have I just overlooked others through the years? Still looking for my parrot heads!

Wrenchingnews/ervin matz auction had one, says:

" GRIP N STIK 707 DOVER, O - PAT APR 13, 24 - - Similar to Eifel Flash Plierench but considerably rarer. Actual patent date is May 13, 1924 and was issued to Karl Potschner of Dover, Ohio. Ex condition, patent date is hard to read. (S263)  "

In perfect condition I wouldn't sell them. So, priceless?

I have examples of the "Grip-N-StiK" with a couple of different marking variations.  Back when I was tracking prices realized (a decade ago ) they were coming through in the $15.00 - $30.00 range.

Problem with "Worth" is finding a buyer that thinks it is "Worth it, & has the $$$ to buy it"...... Sometimes it's just timing...
