Did I stump everyone or do my pics suck?

They look like the wrenches I use to tighted lathe tools in tool holder, only home made.

They do have that shop made look. Not perfectly symetrical;no knurling on handle;maybe some voids in material.

Home made acetylene bottle wrenches ?
I sure wouldn't want a single handled tap wrench.

You would if you were stuck in a corner trying to thread a bolt hole for a machine into a mount, I found that out the hard way a few weeks ago, ended up putting a tap in vice grips....

But the wrench does strike me as a shop made machine wrench....

NB some old lathe chucks had square drive stud bolts, and it's often a good idea to make sure things in a big chuck are reasonable tight, something a long handle would help....
(The stud bolts went away after people figured out that getting your shirt sucked into a lathe isn't healthy...)

Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.
