It was found in a toolbox that had several Walden sockets in it of a newer, chrome variety. The toolbox was purchased in the town of Worcester as well so it seemed a reasonable supposition, but I could find nothing to confirm that it was such. So I found a forum full of experts (yeah, that's you guys), registered, introduced myself and asked the question. It just seemed like the right thing to do. Thanks for any information which you might be able to share.

Dan, if you aren't familiar with it, the Alloy Artifacts web site is a treasure trove of information.

They show that as a Stevens Walden mark, which apparently is a bit later than the Walden Worcester
mark, although essentially the same company.
