How's everyone doing?

How is everyone doing?
If my information is correct, the storm has not caused half as much havoc as it was predicted to do. Is that true with you folks?
I had a great day. It was finally "cool " enough that I could spend three hours on my front porch reading without sweating to death. I did get a little wet, and a few things flew away from my house.  But, for some reason, I was happy to let them "catch the wind" and fly on to somewhere else..... maybe it was because it was all of my garbage taking flight to another persons land!!!
I'm just kidding. Well, I'm partly kidding.
It's pretty incredible to watch tree after tree bowing to the ground, only to spring back up again.
cheers,
bird

Safe and sound so far. Made it through the night but is is still raining and blowing pretty good. We shall see what the day brings. Power and cable are still good.

Lost a 75' high black walnut tree. Tree split with half falling towards my neighbors property. Thank god the other half stayed up because it's about 15 feet from my house.

I'm glad the tree "missed you."  But, are you a woodworker?.......  that's a great tree to work with!!!!
Well, I'm glad both you and your house were not hurt by the storm.
cheers, bird
