Getting ready to move
« on: December 27, 2014, 11:37:59 AM »
My wife and I have been looking for a new/ different house for quite a while now. It will be our last move and it's taking us a long time to find what we want. We now have a Condo in the city and a house on a lake about 45 miles away. I have been retired for about 6 years now and the cost of keeping two places is something we just cannot  afford to keep doing. As a result of this I've started packing up some of my tools. It's amazing some of the things I'm finding so I thought I put a few pics up showing some of my collection. Nothing special about this next group of 5  wrenches, I just think they're kinda cute. The biggest is 5 9/16" and the shortest is is 3 5/8". I haven't spent much time trying to identify them. I did take a quick glance thru the books by Rathbone and Schultz's and they may well be in there but it's going to have to wait until I have more time for a closer look.
The second picture is similar to one that was shown and talked about here on the forum quite some time ago. This is a meat tenderizer which opens up for cleaning. It says Peerless on one side and Chatillon patent Nov 30 1915 on the other side.

Looks like I clicked on the same picture twice for the meat tenderizer. I'll try again

We discussed them a couple of years ago-

And mine was one of the early What's-Its on the original Tool Talk.

Thanks Pawpaw. For some reason I thought the last post on these was back before the crash. I should have have searched and added to that post. I'm still trying to learn.
