Picked this up at a farm auction this week.  NATIONAL is the name on the top.  Spins like the day it was made.

Would love to keep it but some times I have to sell the good stuff to keep the lights on here.  It's online for a 10 day auction and will see what kind of value it brings.   I've noticed that hardware organizers can bring a good penny.

Reminds me of years ago going in to a hardware store and buying nails by weight. There would be a scoop for scooping up your hardware and a scale next to the nail bin for weighing your purchase. Those were the days my friend, we thought they'ed never end now all are stuff is made in CHINA.

I remember the nails being sold in wooden kegs. Like miniature wine bottles.
I used to help my dad and grandfather on the weekends , and I recall they had the nail kegs.
Probably roofing nails
Of all the things I've lost , I miss my mind the most
