Nice deal - but will she pay when the tools are $1.00 each? ! Any idea of the use of those pliers?  Very unusual.   Kraeuter is one of my favorites - made in Newark NJ.

Nice finds!

I'd bet that bottom Krauter pliers is a battery plier. Just the look of the one tip makes me think you undo the clamp bolt and then lever off the clamp with that longer tip.

Still researching the tool:



I first thought that the tool was something modified - but I don't think so now because I can't find a picture of a tool marked like this one.

Any help will be appreciated.

I think you are correct. The plier do have a cutting area and it was definitely used to cut wire. I have played around with some wire and the tool is very handy in that respect.

I will still be on the lookout for the name of the tool.

My vote... the plyer is designed to pull some kind of strand taught. Grip the (wire) and roll against the long jaw.
