#1248P. Has a very fine tooth adjustment, almost infinite - compared to the normal 4 or 5 groove pliers. Anyone know anything about them?

go to DATAMP and put in 2811068  then go to patent info

it pertains to a fine adjustment pliers.

it looks as tho the patentee died before they  were made.

Thanks for reminding me of DATAMP. Looks like the patentee was owner of Bog Tools, though the patent was for Proto. And they claim it looks like the tool never got made. So, I might have a rarity! Cool!

Seems like a nice one is for sale on ebay.

bonneyman,  I saw that about the "not being known to have been made",  but the phone was ringing so I closed out.

also, I have never seen one with the fine adjustment.  nice find plus it was owned by someone that liked to
paint his tools.        (RED- was a common color)

attention; MVWC editor !    here is another job for you.
