Looks like it's marked West Germany, which means it was made prior to 1990.
Another one to add to my vise manufacturer's list. Thanks John.

A lot of those clamp-on vises with the sliding rear jaw are junky - that one looks really nicely done, and I dig the "wing nut" on the clamping bolt.

I can't remember off the top of my head, but I have seen several other types of tools with that marking.
