I guess old wrenches can be valuable especially if they are brand new in their original boxes like these...cool to see how much care they put into finishing and presenting their wrenches...obviously proud of their product.

Steel art. That is a miracle they survived in that condition. Many years ago I came across about a dozen NOS Plomb open end wrenches at the Goodwill store in a Plomb factory box. They were all the same size and were sold over the years. The Plomb box was thrown away. Stupid, stupid, stupid. Oh well , live and learn. Out in the garage I recently found 3 NOS Billings open end wrenches I bought sometime in the past. They are 9/16 X 5/8 number 1727. No box tho.

35 & 40 cents each,  and it brings back memories of not being able to spend that much on a wrench.

and look at what 18 wrenches are going for on that sale.

Yeah, I was thinking, "I'd be willing to spend that much on one of those wrenches."

Wow, what beauties. And not a speck of rust on them either.
My friends call me Bob. My wife calls me a lot worse.
