Yesterdays haul
« on: November 04, 2011, 04:15:40 PM »
Found this pile of stuff over the past few eeks, and, since I've figured out how to post pics without the bucket, figured I show you all what I got. Wards hacksaw, Challenger 1/2" rat, and other goodies.
Anybody know the style/date of the PROTO stamped wrench?

I measured the openings on the PROTO. Looks like 11/16", 1", 1 1/8", and 1 1/4"
The 11/16" could be a "mashed" 3/4", but can't tell. Could even be between the two, like say 23/32".
If this helps.

It is a torch wrench, for a Victor torch, rebranded Proto...
Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.

That's a beautiful hacksaw frame George. Millers Falls for sure.
I like the Easco rat and those snap rings are outright elegant!  Sweet

It says Victor on the other side. Good call, rusty!

Yeah, bro, that saw made me think of the gem I sold you. Just had to grab it. Little bit of cleaning and tightening up the handle, and it's now my spare saw.
