Could not resist this at an auction today, its rusty but will shape up.  Here in the Ozarks we have plenty of native black walnut trees and I have a small collection of crackers (black walnuts are difficult to crack). This one was patented in the early 1940's.  Was in a lot, included a lawn mower that didn't run, a nice Dremel jig saw that is dirty but works and the nut cracker for $12.50.

That is a neat nut cracker, never saw one like that before.

That nut cracker alone, in my opinion, given it's i've never seen one before factor, is worth more than $12.50 you paid. Good score.

A person who could really read human minds would be privileged to gaze on some correct imitations of chaos.

Good find. I'm afraid I would have bought it also. Now where do I store it?

No problem in storing it, just build a bigger shop
