An old finish carpenter tool chest

Recently I have been taking pictures on top of my old tool chest because the light is better in that location.  Thought I would post it and how I come to have it in my possession.  It is 37" long, 23 1/2"wide and 23" deep and made mainly of quarter sawn oak and tulip poplar.  Inside it has seven sliding compartments, three on one side and four on the other.  There is also a saw compartment on the side with only three sliders.  It is bound on all the corners with heavy brass and all the wood screws are brass.  It has two heavy blacksmith made iron handles on each end and heavy four inch iron wheels for each corner (stored inside).   About 20 years ago while living in Florida I often went to the large rennigers sales which were held four times a year back then.  Guy had brought it from New England and it was full of tools, but not correct for the period.  He wanted $1000.00 for it.  Next sale many tools were gone and he wanted $700.00.  Third sale most tools were gone and he wanted $500.  I went the last day of the fourth sale and purchased it with one chisel in it for $200.00 and have enjoyed it ever since.  I am slowly filling it with period master finish carpenter tools from the late 1800's.
