this might be missing somethig,has a threaded hold on side,first thought was a spring spreader for greasing...dont think so...about 6" long....the end is movable(square head lock bolt)

That pointy end reminds me of a nut splitter...so my guess is some kind of splitter...for ?????   :undecided:

The "chisel point" looks like it may have a hole in the tip.  Is this so?  Then maybe the threaded hole is for a grease fitting and connects to the point hole for greasing.

dang,you some smart :smiley:...as you can see the threads are a little screwed up...might never figure out the manufacturer...thanks again!!....i should have en been able to put together 2 + 2,noticed black stuff in hole and the fine thread,,,thats 2 + 2 + the hole :embarrassed:

Wow! Look at that! That is a pretty cool idea for those days when springs had to be greased.  My old Dodge could have used that tool.
