Craftsman blue handle push drill

Came across this Craftsman push drill, with a funny blue handle. No bits, seems to be missing the return spring, kinda unusual markings and thumb operating knob (I guess to access the bits?). Didn't grab it, but if it's worth something it's at a dependable thrift store.
Found a similar one on the bay. Anybody have any insights?

Nothing special about them, as far as I know.  I had one; now I don't.  If I remember correctly, it takes the cruciform-shank bits found on some Millers Falls, Goodell-Pratt, and other such push drills.  Those are hard to get, so, if it doesn't have a set, it's a paperweight.

I agree with Bill, I have one, it is nothing special as I have had a couple others and no one wanted them--gave them away.
