I stopped at an antique shop right here in "downtown" Jordan.  This box was about the only tools in the place.  The owner is closing soon and named a reasonable price for the box and contents.  The tool box is sort of modern, a Vermont American but it's unusually large.  Loaded with brass fittings and screws and misc hdwe.  There are some screwdrivers and an awl.  One screwdriver is a Stanley Yankee No. 4595.  Two Utica pliers, needlenose with spring in handle and slip-joint.  5 files - two Nicholson, Simonds, Delta and "B" in circle logo...Bonney?  2 pair of Weed Chain Pliers, one with a 1913 patent date.  Wood handle keyhole saw (no marks) and wood handle hacksaw marked PEMCO. An unused Black & Decker 1/2" x 3" grinding wheel on an arbor.  The Ridge Tool Co. Stillson pipe wrench with, I think, the 1937 patent date 2076830, in excellent condition.  Kennedy Valve wrench 49092P.  There's an AMP blue plastic pouch wiring kit but the pliers are missing.  And a nice hammer in very good condition with no maker marks but the handle is stamped BILL UNZ  8  25  60  (1960?).

Nice fire hydrant wrench. I always like to pick up misc brass fittings. When plumbing my garage for air, I went to a local hardware store about a year ago to get a reducer bushing. It was a one inch pipe down to half inch pipe reducer bushing. $6.00 plus tax. Total ripoff. Today I went to the Habitat Restore and bought 4 pounds of American made cap screws for $4.00 plus tax. Sweet deal.
