What is the actual model name for this? There are several hundred on eBay but none exactly like this. Most hatchet/hammer combos with a nail puller are flat across the top like a roofing hammer, or are diamond shape in the middle where this one is round. Also, I don't know if it's designed that way or just over sharpened, but many similar hatchets have a rounded blade where this one is flat across. I suppose it could be as simple as it's just an older design. I need a Kelly Works expert to do some teachin'.

Hello, moparthug. I am not the Kelly expert you are looking for, but I do like browsing through old trade catalogs. I believe you have a Shingling Hatchet.  I will also post a link. I hope I am not making an axe out of myself :cheesy:  Shown on page numbers 307 and 308.
