Rusty and caked in mud this poor old plane was thrown in a free box at a yard sale. Not known for my ability to ignore stray tools I had to have it. Turns out it's a 7 inch TWIX plane made in NY in the 1950's - 60's. This is a first for me. It is missing a rear knurled adjustment knob, but the price was right. The company was mostly known for making squares and metal shears.
