You would think I would leave things alone after all the hassles lately on Papawswrench and Tool Talk, but I am crazy! Certified, by golly!

I am also a photographer, and have had a Smugmug site for several years for my photos. That site has only managed to sell a very few photos on its own, so I just downgraded it to take out all the pricing, shipping, off-site printing, etc.
I had to remove all the watermarking, and point the domain name to my own. By just poking around, I was able to do all that in the last few days, 99% all by myself! I have learned enough about web stuff to get myself in trouble it seems, but this time I didn't screw anything up so far.

I was a commercial photographer many years ago, shot mostly oilfield drill bits and industrial stuff. I have a lot of friends who sell on Istock, and your photos of the Leaf-footed bug-stinkbug might be right up there alley.  The black and white of the camp at Alvin ,Texas is a great shot.

Thanks,

Noel, I have witnessed your "finesse" in taking photos.
Kinda like I would stroke a girl friend in high school when "courting" her.
You really have that "touch"

who gave that right to me.

There is  a story behind that shot. It was early winter or late fall and the scene was dreary. I shot it in color, but the greens were dull, and the browns just too dull. There is a blue trash barrel near that tree that clashed with everything, so I processed the photo to monochrome and the result was this photo. I have sold at least 9 of this one in 16x20 prints.
