Need a hand saw website

Picked up a really nice c. 1871 Wheeler, Madden, and Clemson backsaw the other day.
Can't find one just like it on the web.  Had never seen that medallion before, but here it is on a full sized saw:

The 16" blade has a tote similar to the Disston No. 4 saw shown here--except that mine has nibs by both the top and bottom horns.  It is an unusual find.  Good for $2.

I talked to Phil Baker a while back about when "split nuts" were phased out on backsaws. I can't remember exactly, whether it was 1867 or 1869, although I lean more towards the 1869 date. He could probably date your saw more exactly.

For Disston only there is the Disstonian Institute, and good general saw knowledge.   Try looking at WKfinetools, quite a bit of saw knowledge.   Also oldtools, search swingley dev.  the Galoot place, woodworking is their specialty.
