Quad Cities Goodwill Finds
« on: February 15, 2012, 03:26:51 AM »
My wife got some help from her best friend's spouse and found these at a QC Goodwill.  $5 for the sander and 8 for the jigsaw.  Having the original boxes....priceless!!!  Or not.  Anyone wanna gujess when these were made.  One of the "accessories" for these two tools was a 3 prong to 2 prong adapter for the power plug.  That might help date it a bit.  They both run and have been used.  Only minor flaws in the finish from some sort of storage corrosion.

I think I should start visiting Goodwill more often
"FORGED IN THE USA" myself.  Be good to your tools!

Cool finds.

Your luck seems to be better then mine at goodwill. I go there every week or so when we go to the grocery store(right next door) an check to see if theres any tools and theres never anything good like that. Its usually all cheap china junk if thats not antique if they have anything at all.
