Here is an old trouble light I picked up at a flea market. The hardwood handle appears to be made of seasoned rock maple as it has no chips or cracks in it. The legend stamped on the bulb guard base reads "ESSCO-PENNA-660W-250V. I put an Edison 108 (that's what the label on the bulb says) bulb taking a SWAG that it would be about the same age as the light.

Can anyone shed more light on this "ESSCO" product?

Try a Halogen bulb ;-)

Those guys are tough, we had them where I retired from.

It's probably not an essco product, nor made in penna, rather, it's a 'essco type' or a 'penna type'...

Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.
