Got into the city and threw caution to the wind and stopped at a favorite pawn and loan. Had the wife with me so I made it as quick as possible. Wouldn't you now it, they reorganized the place. Instead of two big plastic tubes of dreck, it was now spread over 6 and lower to the floor, ugh. I started at the wrench tub and didn't really get away from it. Rigth away I pulled out a PLOMB pebble DOE 3031-3/4x5/8, and a Plomb 1140 CBE 13/16-7/8. Every time I pawed thru the wrenches something else came up. A New Britain NDF-28 COE of the type I collect!, Barcalo-Buffalo 5/8x 3/4, Vlcek COE, Hazet COE17x19MM, first Hazet I've seen. Then an Indestro 3/8 like new, Herbrand chrome5/8, and the most unmessed with Ford script DOE I've seen. A big ACE hdw screwdriver, wood handled Mac screwdriver, a very neat Mac, 5/8 double wobbly spark plug socket SC163R, Then a like new 12 inch Diamond water pump pliers, put it all in a little tin box that once held a 3/8 set. Also pulled out a Stanley 12 inch rule with square. Was a lot more than I usually find there, and after waiting at the counter, the guy pawed thru every tool, checking for names. I was ready to go as high as $20, and in the end gave him that much. Plan to get back there this weekend if any more cash shows up, think theres some more down in those bins.
