Those are all very nice Chilly. Did you get them complete or did you have to hunt a little.

The large set in the silver/grey box looked narely used. Only 3 sockets look like they were ever used and one of those was barely used. The plastic on the 1/4" driver looks perfect.  The outside of the box is another story, it had oil dropped on one back corner and paint dropped on it sometime. I am guessing it just sat on a shelf for years.

The small set was missing a 1/4" six point socket.

I added the 1/4"  driver to the large blue set after I saw it in the other set.

Are the tools marked S-K, Lectrolite or both?

On all the sets ive seen the tools are S-K, the only Lectrolite reference is on the box label.  I have lectrolite / s-k wrenches with either and both.

May I request a favor?  I'm doing a study now on the S-K 2-letter codes, and you obviously need a "catch point" to start the dating from.  Should y'all have a spare moment, might you please check your S-K Lectrolite stamped (BOTH NAMES) wrenches and let me know if anyone finds a 2 letter code (forged not stamped).  Thanks much!!  Todd

Twersty, my crescent wrench has a "C" forged on it if tat helps.

It does.  Is it stamped S-K Lectrolite or just Lectrolite?

The 2 SK/Lec I have are C22 = M, C30 = None (I think)

All the Lectrolites have only 1 letter

Some of the SK, SK Wayne, SK Tools have 2 letters

Only Lectrolite.

Thanks gents.  Most of my S-K Wayne items have a 1 letter stamp, which now looks like it was carried over from the Lectrolite "partnership."  It looks like they used a single letter, double letter, single number and double number conglomeration of codes during the Wayne era (I have examples of each).  Once Dresser got them up and running under their umbrella, everything appears to be 2-letter codes.  Some of my examples (Link: http://toolarchives.com/S-K_Date_Codes) have a letter or a number either under or over the 2-letter code, as well as a T forged in the opposite side of the wrench, on the same side of the shank.  I have a feeling this is going to take some time to figure out!!!

I run across a lot of SK, SK-Wayne & SK lectrolite wrenches in my flea market adventures.
I have NEVER seen ANY SK lectrolite sockets, rachets or extensions.
yep, sk made the socket tools and lectrolite made the wrenches.

Yeah I was gonna chime in and say I was told somewhere that Lectrolite only made wrenches. So the Lectrolite socket box has got me interested.

Now I need to dig out my lectrolite / Tru-fit wrenches.  That might make thing a heck of a lot easier if the codes (which it kinda looks like) came from Lectrolite.  It'd really be cool if they go back to '32, and start with "A."

Eddie,
Would you mind shooting me pics of your Lectrolite, Lectrolite Tru Fit and Tru-Fit wrenches?  Truly appreciated!!  twertsy@gmail.com

Everything is packed away in a barn Pennsylvania. I probably wouldn't be able to look until springtime

Here's my half-assed inventory. I started by just listing #'s and size but gradually expanded to list everything on the wrench. That means that some wrenches should have more information on them.
