Love those Amateur Tag Sales!!
« on: May 28, 2012, 05:16:35 AM »
Didn't find much there being the 2nd day and all, but did get 3 old auto tools from Blackhawk and Walden along with a 3' long bar clamp.  The big find was an F-1(I think) Snap On1/2" Drive T handle for 50 cents along with a camel saddle, old Coleman Stove, and a 60's vintage Hayden Oil cooler for another $15.  I'll spare you the photos of the non-important stuff.......The F-1 according to the Snappy collector's site was made between 1927 and 1929 and it's in great shape.  Now gotta figure out a use for it around the house.....

Guess I should add that this was a husband and wife emptying out their house in a rush so they could rent it to some  prospective tenants. Most of the other tools they had for sale were items I had 4 or 5 of.

The stove is a 413 G and in great shape.  Haven't fired it up yet.  Was high bidder on one of the old brass Coleman funnel/strainers and someone ripped it off earlier this spring while I  was bidding on other stuff.  Was not happy, but lesson learned.....

I have two other Coleman Stoves, one has no markings on it and the other is a 425......they'e both currently at a junktique store for sale....
