Who knew ? Women had their own brand of pliers. I've seen chilren's tool kits and ladies hammers but hadn't seen ladies pliers. Not terribly different than most masculine pliers. Evidently made by Daido Corp. and out of business.

Of course. What were they thinking?
Woman aren't that stupid.
Woman don't buy pliers.
Woman marry schmucks who own pliers ;P
Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.

Now I see tools with pink handles a lot but nothing that says Lady on it.

Or, those women who do buy pliers may also be insulted by being set off, separate from the "real" pliers users.  At least they weren't pink.

I can see paying attention to some of the real (though statistical) differences between men and women in this area: smaller handles on some tools, for instance.  But those won't serve just women (there are men with small hands), and they won't serve all women (there are plenty of women who find regular-sized handles just fine, thank you).

I didn't look to see what hand tools they still make but torque wrenches are on the front page of their hsnd tool page. FWIW I believe it was diado who made the Japanese craftsman tools in the 70's-80's.

as far as pliers for women goes, my ol lady has a pair of snap on........and won't use anything pink!

Yes Daido corp is still in business and I don't know if its same company that made pliers. Found (lady steelcraft) trademark as expired but it was for tape. Daido was involved with Truecraft tools also. Also found a court case involving Daido and some American tool companies involving dumping on American market.
