Yesterday, I went prowling in a little antique mall. Lots of decorations, and hot cider, and strolling the aisles looking at the floor, because that's where the old heavy iron and rusty stuff is hidden. Came up with another tiny oil can that is a different variation from the few I own. Then a very tiny pen knife, so small it was made to hang from a watch fob, on a pocket watch. Then a very nice Pexto brace drill, in a configuration new to me, laying on a batch of iron wrenches. Already dug through those wrenches on a previous trip, who needs more tools that say IHC and JD? Draped over a shelf was a whole batch of planes, not that I need planes, but never hurts to look, right? Way overpriced, except one Stanley 40, which went home with me. For wrench content I did find a Fairmont iron monkey wrench, like was put in the JEEP tool kit? Was looking for something in particular but that booth was cleaned out. Probably over at the other antique mall now. Was hoping to score a large monkey wrench, as it seems they turn up at gift giving time. Have a 26 inch, and want to add a longer one to the rack. What better way to spend a bitter cold and windy afternoon, right?
