Monday Picking Results

Local CL ad said a used car dealer was going out of business and the shop tools were up for sale.  I arrived and he had a ton of stuff for the professional mech, but the hand tools were mostly NAPA and fairly recent(ie the Craftsman-styled "laser etchings" on sockets) and he wanted $1600 for the bottom roll chest and contents.  Some sniffing around the cold shop turned up what you see in the first photo, so this trip was way worth it for the $35 he wanted for all this.

Of particular interest is that really cool old cast/pot metal Stanley Hacksaw Frame at the top and the C-man BE series flexover that was covered in yellow paint.  Closeups to follow.....

A gaggle of V-series sockets
The other socket pile has a few SK deep walls, a Wright impact, Bluegrass, JC Penny, and a small Proto.
Upper row combos:
Armalloy, Indestro, US John Deere,Wright,  2 Protos,
Bottom row combos:
Powr-Kraft, V-series(3) and a HuskyMisc SAE Taps,  Misc screwdrivers, with the SK and the Indestro being the keepers.


and the rusty old tool box most of them spent the last so many years in......got my $35's worth for sure.....and it's fun to watch Oily drool.....
