Friday flea market finds
« on: February 01, 2013, 10:37:05 AM »
Not much at the flea markets this time of year, less vendors, crappy weather, etc.
But this morning was a good day.

A nice Craftsman rubber mallet

A PEXTO 9" screwdriver & PEXTO 8" dividers

Combo pry / hammer - marked NOX TOX, The Bridgeport Hdwe Mfg Corp

Some wrenches
DOE Craftsman
DOE SEARS (USA)
DBE Indestro
and a couple of Barcalo-Buffalo combos

Misc stuff
a Husky 1/4" spinner
a Vice Grip like hold down clamp - unmarked
a deep throat C-Clamp
a 1/4" ratchet - Armstrong Armaloy NMA-51
a 6" slip joint plier - Butts & Ordway Co, Boston

All this stuff cost me a grand total of $14.

That hold down clamp is for use on a drill press, mounts right in the slots on the table. Having a pair of them when drilling certain things that are hard to hold in a vise are a godsend!!

Yeah, I've had one of these for years.
I'm happy to have found this one. Now I have a pair.
The guy selling it had no idea what it was. He thought it was "missing something".

I've got a friend who collects those Bridgeport crating tools. They apparently made quite a variety of different sizes of them.
My friends call me Bob. My wife calls me a lot worse.

Yup, my local flea market is a treasure trove of old tools at (mostly) cheap prices.
