Found a used and well painted set of Klein combo wrenches at the pawn shop today for $20, but hesitated since there was no marking on them signifying theri country of origin.  Klein certainly has made their share of stuff overseas here lately and if you go to their website, the Q & A section is almost entirely devoted to that subject, addressed by the CEO.  His answers sound a lot like the drivel I got from Milwaukee's CSR when I whinedabout their commitment to China.  There's plenty of blue paint to strip off of them if I do go back and buy them.

If someone knows, please speak up.  No guarantee they'll respond to my email.

Thanks in advance....

From what I read it sounds like some aren't made in the USA anymore.
And I'm proud to be an American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.

I did get a response from Klein that said they were made in the US.  I went back the next day right when they opened up and they had been sold.  Can't score everything, where would I put it???
