Got this Hinsdale RF-1 ratchet today. Its a 5/8 size. Back when you used this did you need a different ratchet for each size ?

I'll call that a scaffold's ratchet, I see them using them all the time.

Batz,

You could be right, or it might be a refrigeration ratchet (note model number RF-1).  I noticed that several of the OEM's like Bonney use the RF designation for their refrigeration tools.  Just a thought....

Yes,but, ... 5/8?

Could also be Ratchet,Fixed.; Ratchet,Ford......Really Funky....

The fact it is stamped 5/8 is a kinda strong hint that there must be other sizes ....tho I can't imaging why size 1 would be in the middle ...(why not 1/2?)

Someone needs to find one in a different size, or something that fits in it that reduces to 1/4 square drive for a refer valve stem......
Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.
