Is there something I am missing here.

Some Germans drink a lot.
Some Germans are clearly out of touch with reality for other reasons.
Some Germans have the exchange rate screwed up.
We don't have a clear enough understanding of German screwdriver lore.

Don't cut on those "Germans"  combine Germans who like to drink with the Irish and you wind up with me----- can I blame that on my heritage??
