EWB Co. wrench

 I have a wrench that has (EWB CO) on one side and a raised (5) on other side. Its an engineer style wrench and has no maker mark except as noted. Only company I have found with these initials is EW Bliss Co. Wrench is 7 3/8 long and 1/2 thick at working end. Has feel and appearance of Williams wrench but no mark. Anyone know what company used this wrench ? Can anyone confirm manufacturer of this fellow ? Don't find anything in alloy. Google led me to EW Bliss Co. and EW Bowman Inc. Bliss made heavy metal processing equip and seems a viable suspect but no confirmation.

EW Bliss Co. Brooklyn NY was about two miles from the Williams factory. Bliss among other things, made Torpedoes right on the NYC waterfront! There was a nice thread on the old board about Bliss. Maybe Papaw can dig it out.

An interesting wrench. The features are not inconsistant with Williams , the forge mark is about right, the head shape is about right, the use of an inset panel is typical of early (<30's) williams.

The overall design however is not like Williams standard production Engineers wrench at all.  The standard wrenches have a much thinner handle that grows wider away from the head.
But it could have been a special, Bliss was certainly big enough to order what they liked...

Probably always going to be a touch of doubt, unless you find a machine manual with a closeup picture of the wrench in it. But, I know E.W.Bliss used 'EWB Co' on machines from pictures. Ruling out all the other possible folks who might have also used that is a chore....
