Just a reminder -- Peugeot was a major manufacturer of hand tools in France.   I have wooden planes with Peugeot blades, and chisels as well.   Viet-Namese carpenters considered Peugeot edged tools to be the best available.  The two lions are the most familiar symbol for the company, but I have one marked with an elephant, and another marked with a squirrel.
