Anyone Know if this was Made Specifically for a Certain Classic Car?

Its a Herbrand 1055-X and i cant find anything about it!

Mel Larsen

I don't think it would have been for any particular car unless there was one that had four different size of lug nuts,  the hook in the center looks to be for prying off the hub caps.

I would rather have tools I never use, than to need a tool I don't have.

Ya, The Hook made me think hubcap as well...Do you Know if Herbrand Ever Contracted with a Certain Car Company to Make Auto Tools?

And would you happen to know a Aprox date this Might Be By the Logo?

Thanks

I did do a Google for Herbrand tools and what I found is, they did make a full line of auto related tools.  Formed in 1881 the made tools for a number of other brand such a Montgomery Wards, Western Auto and such,  In 1961 they was bought out by Kelsy-Hayes.  There is a catalog on google.

I found this in the 1937 herbrand catalog on page 105.  It is calle a four way rim wrench and hub cap remover no. 1055-x cost was $1.75.
