well marked wrench

I love a well marked wrench except when I can't find any info on it. Only thing close seems to be Albany International Corp which makes textile machinery, but have no idea if this is their wrench. Belongs to an acquaintance and he sent it home with me for identification but I'm striking out. Any help appreciated.

Looks like AIR CO. I think it is a wrench for oxy-acetylene tank.

AIM CO. No information is known on the wrench. Most collectors own one and are fairly common. CW

It looks like A I N to me, and it sure does resemble a tank wrench. Although it is kind of a strange shape for a tank wrench.

I cropped and blew it up, sorta looks more like a "N" to me.
used irfanview to do it, a free program http://www.irfanview.net/ it's make thing a little easier.

It puzzles me they could be so common yet no information is known.

The AIM I can find that is plausibly old enough is American Insulating Machinery Co, Phila, around the 1940's
(The made machines for winding insulated wire, presumably on motors or transformers or such)

Suppose it could be (AIM) but (AIN) also strong possibility. Adding a closer view of markings.
They may be common Carl but I've been to two goat ropings and a county fair and don't remember seeing one.
